sTEPHANIE ROSE, LCSW
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER | THERAPISTÂ
about me
Some consider putting others needs before your own needs a weakness but I consider this a strength. My ideal client is someone willing to put themselves first even if they may not understand how to at the moment. Deciding to seek therapy can feel scary and uncertain. Together we can provide a safe space where you will feel supported and encouraged. With so much uncertainty in the world I am here to listen. Whether you are returning to therapy or beginning for the first time, together we can identify what is holding you back and how to overcome it.
I have 10 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, and families through in home therapy and private practice. This background has helped shape my client focused strengths-based practice that I utilize with my clients today. My areas of most experience are anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, bereavement, and stress/time management.
I believe boundaries are just as important as self-care and my main priority is putting my clients first. My clients are an essential part of their treatment.
My education
I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Work through Stockton University and my Masters of Social Work with a track in clinical practice with families and children through Monmouth University. After graduating I was able to pursue my License of Clinical Social Work (LCSW) in New Jersey. I have 10 years in private practice and in home therapy, truly getting to know my clients, their families, and home lives with focus in anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, and stress management.
What you can expect from our first session
I will work with each individual to make them feel comfortable, safe and at ease. We will explore strengths, challenges, and skills that would work best for your goals. Each client will be provided with a healing environment to identify goals and build a therapeutic relationship.
